The November 2019 Top500 Supercomputer List had a record 14 Irish machines. The combined performance of these 13 machines is over 23 Petaflops, bringing the aggregate power of all 46 machines on the Irish Supercomputer List to over 28.8 Petaflops.
There are now 22 machines owned by “Software Company (M)” on the Irish Supercomputer List. It is believed that these are private industry machines not available to HPC researchers and academics, which is a growing cause of concern in the community.
