15th Irish Supercomputer List

Amidst flattening curves and lows turnover in the global HPC rankings, Ireland sees no turnover in the November 2020 list, as was also seen in the June 2020 list. The current global #1 – the Japanese Fugaku supercomputer – was not challenged, and the Top 500 list recorded the smallest number of new entries since the project began in 1993. We have been tracking Ireland’s supercomputer resources for 8 years now and the last 12-18 months have indeed seen less growth than any other time.
