International man of mystery. Nobody has ever actually seen Kevin and only rumours exist about his computer science credentials. In fact other exotic rumours exist that he may in fact be an English lecturer.

Michael’s research is in Statistics. He completed his PhD in 2009 from Trinity College Dublin and went on to do postdoctoral research in UCD and Oxford. He only works on Mondays. Like Samson his hair is his strength.

John’s field of research is Numerical Cosmology.He has extensive experience in numerical simulations of large scale structure in the Universe. The main focus of his research is investigating the formation mechanisms and environmental factors which determine the formation and evolution of the first Black Holes in the Universe.  He is both a user and developer of large parallel codes with extensive experience of parallel code development in OpenMP and MPI.
