The 14th Irish Supercomputer List saw no new additions. However, globally there is a new world-leader in the Top500. Supercomputer Fugaku is the name of this machine, with a HPL score of 415.5 petaflops, beating Summit by a factor of nearly 3 and close to the half-exaflop mark. This machine is the first number one powered by ARM processors. Amazing! Fugaku is located at the RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS) in Kobe, Japan.
